Maoists Attack Factory Site in Rayagada, Torch 9 Vehicles & Machinery

Rayagada: Armed Maoists attacked a factory campsite and resorted to arson at Muniguda in the Rayagada district on Friday night. The naxals torched at least nine vehicles and machinery at the site.

According to police sources, this incident of Maoist arson took place at Deokupuli Chowk in Muniguda.

A group of 10 armed Maoists are said to be behind this arson. They set fire to two excavators, five tipper trucks, and two tractors. All vehicles were destroyed in the fire.

The ultras also left behind some posters before leaving the spot. Police seized the Maoist posters from the spot. Combing operation has been initiated in the area to track down the naxals behind this incident.
