Married Man Shoots Girlfriend in OYO Hotel Room

New Delhi: A 39-year-old woman was allegedly shot dead by her lover in an OYO hotel room in Delhi’s Narela area. The 38-year-old killer lover Praveen, who is a married man, tried to commit suicide by shooting himself. But he has survived and is undergoing treatment in Delhi’s Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, police sources said.

The victim identified as Geeta had checked into the hotel room on Tuesday. At night, Praveen and she had a loud quarrel. In a rage, Praveen had shot the woman in the chest. After committing the murder, he also tried to kill himself.

Interestingly, the injured accused is also charged with another murder case. He is out on bail. He is married and has a wife named Sushila, who lives in a village with their children.
