Miscreants Stabs Youth To Death In Balangir 

Balangir: Unidentified miscreants allegedly stabbed a youth to death and left one injured late Tuesday night in Bolangir district.

The deceased has been identified as  Saroj Panigrahi, a resident of Sarobarapada. The injured, Prema Sahu, hails from Kandhapalipada in the western Odisha town.

According to reports, the incident took place while the youth duo was returning home after watching Sital Sasthi Yatra when the miscreants attacked them with sharp weapons near Nrusingha temple.

Subsequently, both the youths were rushed to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital for treatment where Saroj succumbed to his injuries. Sahu is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital and his condition is stated to be critical.

Upon being informed, police reached the spot and initiated an investigation in this regard.
