Mother, and Son Electrocuted to Death at their Under-Construction House in Balasore Dist

Balasore: Inspecting of construction work of their house proved fatal for a mother and son duo in Kantapada Nahul village in Balasore district on Saturday. Both were electrocuted to death when they unknowingly came in contact with a snapped live wire carrying high-voltage electricity. The deceased have been identified as Tilotama Das (48) and Ramachandra Das (28) of Nahul village under Khaira police limits.

The woman died on the spot. Seriously injured son was rushed to a nearby hospital. But he also succumbed to his injuries after some time. According to initial reports, the ill-fated mother and son while inspecting their half-constructed house came in contact with the snapped live wire. Personnel of Khaira police station reached the spot of the accident to take up the investigation.
