Youth Electrocuted While Returning from Friend’s Birthday Party in Cuttack

Cuttack: A youth was electrocuted to death while he was returning home after attending a friend’s birthday party in Cuttack on Sunday night.

The deceased was identified as Alok Pradhan (23) from the Stewart Patna area in Cuttack.

According to reports, on Sunday night, Alok took part in the birthday party of his friend at Madhukunj Park at Tulasipur. While he was returning home after the party along with his friend Udit, they accidentally came in contact with a live electric wire dangling from a pole in front of the park.

While Alok died of electrocution, his friend Udit was seriously injured in the mishap.
