Mother-Daughter Duo Killed, Son Critical After Being Hit By Train In Andhra’s Loddaputti

Ganjam: A mother-daughter duo was killed while her son sustained grievous injuries after being crushed by a speeding train near Lodhaputi in Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday.

The deceased have been identified as Upada Srabani (30) of Chidipudi village under Patrapur block, and her 8-month-old daughter.

According to reports, the injured 3-year-old son was admitted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital here for treatment.

Though the exact reason behind the accident is yet to be ascertained, some localities alleged that the woman along with her children attempted suicide, while some others says that they were crushed to death while crossing the road.

A pall of gloom descended on the village after the tragic incident.
