Now Lahore Police On Way to Islamabad to Arrest Imran Khan

A team of Lahore police left for Islamabad to arrest PTI Chairman and former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan in a number of cases registered against him, reported the Dawn. The police team is headed by the Lahore deputy inspector general (investigation).

This investigating team from Lahore has informed the Islamabad High Court that it seeks the PTI chief’s arrest.

Both local and international media were barred from entering the Islamabad High Court, during the hearing of Imran Khan’s bail plea in the Al-Qadir Trust case, claimed PTI leader Sayed Zulfikar Bukhari in a tweet. Bukhari added that Punjab Police had also arrived at the court with fresh arrest orders to detain Imran Khan.

On Thursday, the Supreme Court of Pakistan termed the former premier’s arrest from the Islamabad High Court (IHC) premises “invalid and unlawful”.
