Odisha Police Team to Visit Kolkata to Nab Singer Sourin Bhatt Facing Sexual Harassment Charge

Cuttack: Commissionerate police have formed a four-member team to track down singer Sourin Bhatt in Kolkata. This team is expected to leave for Kolkata on Tuesday.

A woman in Cuttack has lodged a complaint of sexual harassment against the singer at the Cuttack Mahila police station.

The complainant is a female singer. She has alleged that Sourin Bhatt cheated and exploited her through false promises of marriage. She also added that Sourin Bhatt has extorted Rs 10 lakh from her.

Odisha police have registered a case against Sourin Bhatt under sections 376, 493, 341, 294, 417 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

But police have failed to contact the singer as his phone remains switched off since the day the complaint was lodged against him.
