Odisha: Video Of Headmistress’ Son ‘Taking Classes’ In Her Absence At School Goes Viral

Bhadrak: A video of a school headmistress’ son taking a class in her absence has gone viral raising questions about the state of school education in Odisha.

The incident was reported from Gopalpur primary school in Bhadrak district.

Reportedly, the matter came to light after the video of the incident surfaced on the internet.

As per allegations, the son of the school headmistress, identified as Mamata Das used to take classes whenever she remains absent. However, the headmistress refutes all the allegations and said that she has sent her son to open the school as she was with her other son who was undergoing treatment after meeting an accident.

Meanwhile, Block Education Officer (BEO) Pranay Nayak said necessary action will be taken against those who will be found guilty.
