Pathaan Mints Rs 542 Cr in 5 Days; Boycott Bollywood Brigade Silenced

Mumbai: Phenomenal box office record of Pathaan has silenced the Boycott Bollywood Brigade. This Shah Rukh Khan starrer is having a glorious run in the theatres in its first week. Released on January 25, Pathaan has already managed to earn over Rs 542 crore worldwide in its opening week.

On Sunday, January 29, the film is estimated to have earned Rs 70 crore in India. Now all are speculating, whether Pathaan will be able to reach the Rs 1000 crore mark of box office earnings or not.

According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, Pathaan’s opening week stands at Rs 542 crore globally. In India, the film is estimated to have earned Rs 70 crore (gross) on its fifth day at the box office. Pathaan crossed Rs 250 crore nett in India in just five days.

Pathaan is the fourth installment in the Yash Raj Films (YRF) Spy Universe. Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham have come together for the first time in Pathaan, written and directed by Siddharth Anand.
