PM Modi Congratulates Winners of National Panchayat Awards

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the winners of the National Panchayat Awards. Responding to a tweet by Rural Development Minister Giriraj Singh, he said the awardees have played an important role in the development of India’s villages, and their service and dedication are going to inspire everyone. Mr. Modi has requested everyone to Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya in New Delhi.

Responding to a tweet by Neeraj Shekhar, the son of former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar, about his visit to Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, the Prime Minister said it his good fortune that he got to spend time with a great personality like Chandra Shekhar. The Prime Minister also lauded the site clearance of over 2,250 acres of land by the Civil Aviation Ministry for the Greenfield Airport project at Kottayam.

Sharing a tweet by the Ministry, Mr. Modi called it great news for tourism, especially spiritual tourism. Mr. Modi also shared a video of cultural performances from Saurashtra Tamil Sangamam on Twitter.
