Provide Z+ Security to Mukesh Ambani Family, Supreme Court Directs Centre

New Delhi: The Supreme Court directed the Union government to provide Z+ security cover to top industrialist Mukesh Ambani and his family. The court added that business tycoon Mukesh Ambani will bear all the costs of this security arrangement.

The apex court also made it clear that the Z+ security for Mukesh Ambani and his family should be provided not only in Mumbai but also all over the country and abroad.

This order was passed by a bench of Justices Krishna Murari and Ahsanuddin Amanullah on Tuesday. The court clarified that while in India, Mukesh Ambani and his family will get security cover from the Maharashtra government and the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Ministry of Home Affairs will ensure security arrangements for them when they are abroad, the court added.
