Rampaging Elephant Herds Create Panic In Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda: Residents of Jharsuguda town are spending sleepless nights after a herd of elephants strayed into the locality in the early hours of Sunday.

On being informed, forest department officials reached the spot and drive away the elephants. Moreover, the officials have also warned the locals to not use any kind of firecrackers to drive away the elephants.

Following the movement of the elephants, the power supply has been switched off by the electricity department. The herd did not cause any damage.
