Royal Bengal Tiger Dies in Orang National Park in Assam

A Royal Bengal Tiger was found dead in the Orang National Park of Assam on Thursday. The carcass of this Royal Bengal Tiger was located near Bhabapur camp inside the Orang National Park. According to forest officials of Mangaldoi Wildlife Division which monitors the Orang National Park, the Royal Bengal Tiger is suspected to have died a few days ago to aging-related issues.

The forest staff immediately informed the higher authorities regarding the death of a national animal inside the national park. Forest officials along with a veterinary team rushed to the spot for the post-mortem of the tiger carcass.

The initial post-mortem report of the dead animal suggests that it was a natural death because of old-age-related problems, said reports. The Royal Bengal Tiger carcass was disposed of as per the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) guidelines.
