Rs. 18 Crore Worth Cocaine Smuggling Busted in Delhi; Nigerian Woman Arrested

New Delhi: A Nigerian woman was arrested for allegedly smuggling 1.2 kg of cocaine into the country at Delhi airport. The cocaine is said to be worth Rs. 18 Crore.

The accused was checked at Indira Gandhi International airport after her arrival from Addis Ababa on February 8. While intercepting, about 1.2kg of cocaine concealed in the false cavity of her bag was recovered by the airport police.

The Nigerian woman’s identity is not revealed yet. She is under custody and interrogation is continuing.
