Sri Mandir Parikrama Project Will Be Ready in Next 3 Months

Puri:  Srimandir Parikrama project is expected to be completed for public use in 3 next months, said Odisha Chief Secretary, Suresh Mohapatra.  He visited Puri today to review the progress of various projects taken up in this holy city.

Speaking to newsmen, the Chief Secretary informed that work on the outer parikrama, inner parikrama, and the ring road of the Sri Mandir Parikrama project is underway. He hoped that the general public will be able to use them in the next 3 months.

This project will provide all basic amenities to devotees visiting the Sri Jagannath temple like toilets, washrooms, and places for meditation. Devotees will go all around the temple without affecting the regular traffic movement. E-vehicles will help devotees can reach the temple and return to their parking place conveniently, he said.

The Chief Secretary also reviewed the renovation of the Puri Swargadwara crematorium.
