Suitcase with Chopped Body Parts Found in Faridabad; Are They of Shraddha Walkar?

New Delhi: A suitcase containing decomposed body parts of a human was found in Surajkund forest area in Faridabad of Haryana on Thursday. Suspecting that it may be of 27-year-old Shraddha Walkar, who was murdered by her live-in partner, Faridabad police have informed Delhi Police regarding it.

Inside the suitcase, the body remains were wrapped in a plastic bag and a sack. Some clothes and a belt were also found near the suitcase.

It was evident deceased was murdered somewhere else and apportion of the body was dumped at the spot to avoid identification.

After receiving information, a team of Mehrauli police of South Delhi that is investigating the gruesome Shraddha murder case reached the spot to investigate.

The body parts found in the suitcase seem to be months old. So, it is suspected that they may be linked with the Shraddha Walker murder case.

The recovered body parts were sent for forensic examination. Delhi Police may opt for a DNA test of the body parts found in the Faridabad area.

Aftab Ameen Ponawala (28) allegedly murdered his 26-year-old live-in girlfriend Shraddha Walkar and chopped off her body into 35 pieces. He then kept the body parts in his fridge to dump them in different parts of Delhi.
