Two Teenagers Taking Selfies Run Over by Train in Uttarakhand

Roorkee: Two youngsters in their teens lost their lives while taking selfies over a railway bridge in Roorkee town of Uttarakhand. They were run over by a train.

According to police sources, this accident occurred on Saturday evening. The deceased were identified as Siddharth Saini (19) and Shivam Saini (16).

They were taking selfies on the Dosani railway bridge. They were so engrossed in their selfie-taking that they could not hear the arriving train.

Both were knocked down by the Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express and died on the spot.

They were not inhabitants of Roorkee. They had come to Laksar along with their families to perform a religious ritual on the banks of the Solani river.
