UP Man Beheads Father; Chops Body to pack in Suitcase for Disposal

Lucknow: A man in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur murdered his father and chopped the body parts to fit them into a suitcase to dispose of them. He slit his father’s throat with a sharp weapon and beheaded him over some financial dispute.

The incident took place in Suraj Kund colony under Tiwaripur police station limits late on Saturday night, reported India Today. The younger brother of the accused Prashant Gupta, who was a witness to the crime complained to the police regarding the crime.

The deceased Madhur Gupta was murdered by his son Prince Gupta on Saturday night. Prince was enraged when his father refused to give him money. Prince confessed that he had murdered his father. “Had my father given me money, I would not have killed him,” the accused told the cops.

According to the police complaint, Prashant noticed traces of blood in the house and the trolley bag was also missing, which raised his suspicion. Prashant then informed the police.

Police recovered the body parts of the victim from the suitcase.
