Watch: Villagers Rescue 8-foot Python in Balasore Dist

Balasore: A huge python was found in a pond at Jaleshwarpur village of Balasore district on Sunday evening. The villagers sighted the python in the village pond and informed the snake helpline.

When no one came to catch the snake, the scared villagers used a water pump to drain the water out of the pond. When the python was spotted in the drained-out pond, two youths of the area, Mithun Jena of Kumar Jalina and Bhola Das of Govardhanpur village showed courage to catch the 8-foot python from the pond.

The villagers praised their bravery and informed the forest department regarding the python.
