Visiting Most Pubs in A Single Day Australian Man Sets New World Record

Heinrich de Villiers (23) of Australia created a new Guinness World Record by visiting the most number of bars in a single day. This Melbourne based South African visited 78 different pubs and bars in 24 hours to accomplish this feat.

As per the Guinness World Record rules, he had to consume at least 125 milliliters of any drink at each place he visited. According to Guinness World Records, he visited these 78 pubs in 24 hours on February 10-11, 2022, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Henrich was accompanied by two friends during this bar hopping for record making. According to him, it was his attempt to support the local pub and bar scene in Melbourne that was heavily affected during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He broke the previous record set by Nathan Crimp, an Englishman who visited 67 pubs in 24 hours in Brighton, England.
