WB CM Mamata Banerjee to be On 2-Day Visit to Odisha This Month

Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will be on a two-day visit to Odisha this month. She is likely to call on her counterpart and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President Naveen Patnaik.

According to sources, the chief minister will reach Bhubaneswar on March 21 evening.

On March 22, she will go to Puri and offer prayers at Shree Jagannath Temple there. On March 23, there is a possibility of her meeting with CM Naveen Patnaik. However, it is not yet confirmed whether there will be a meeting or not.

“West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is likely to call on his Odisha counterpart Naveen Patnaik on March 23 during a two-day visit to the neighbouring state, a senior party leader said on Friday. The Trinamool Congress supremo will also offer pujas at the Jagannath Temple in Puri during the tour. She will meet Naveen Patnaik on March 23,” said senior TMC leader and Lok Sabha MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay.
