Woman Critically Injured by Husband’s Attack

Bhubaneswar: A woman was critically injured after being attacked by her husband with a sharp knife. The incident took place in Nayapalli area of Bhubaneswar.

The victim is identified as Sasmita Parida. Reportedly, she has deep injuries on her head, hands, and other body parts.

The exact reason is not known yet but it is suspected that family dispute might have led to such a barbaric incident.  The accused fled from the house after committing the crime.

The matter came to light after a complaint was filed at the Nayapalli police station limits. Acting on the complaint, the police registered a case and started to probe.
