Woman Kills & Chops Off Lover With Husband’s Help in Mayurbhanj

Mayurbhanj: A woman allegedly killed her lover and chopped him off into four pieces with the help of her husband. The deceased hailed from Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district.

The deceased was identified as Dambrudhar Mohanty of the Rairangpur area of the district. According to reports, Dambrudhar went missing from his workplace in Jamshedpur on March 20. Inushree Mohanty, wife of the deceased filed a missing complaint at the nearby police station after she could not get any whereabouts of her husband.

Based on the complaint, the police initiated an investigation into the matter. During the probe, police arrested one Khushboo Sagar and her husband Kamalakant Sagar, who allegedly killed the victim over his extramarital affair with Khusboo.

The police recovered Damrudhar’s head in a bag near Jambani of Kamalpur-Bodam police station border and the abdominal part of the body near Thanthani Ghati of Patmada.

Further investigation is underway.
