1 Killed, 15 Hurt After Puri-Bound Bus Overturns Near Pipili Toll Gate

Bhubaneswar: One person was killed while several others were injured after a passenger bus overturned near Pipili toll gate on NH 206 in Puri district on Friday.

The incident took place at around 4:30 pm on Friday when the bus was heading to Puri from Bhubaneswar.

According to reports, the bus driver lost control over the wheels as a result the vehicle hit the road divider and turned turtle on the national highway. Following this, one person was killed while 15 sustained serious injuries in the accident.

On being informed, teams of police, fire service, and local people rushed to the rescue of the injured passengers. The injured have been shifted to Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar.
