Adulterated Salt, Detergent Manufacturing Unit Busted In Bhubaneswar Outskirt

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police on Monday busted an adulterated salt and detergent manufacturing unit on the outskirt of Bhubaneswar.

The unit was reportedly busted by Pahala police in Sibashakti Nagar. Police have detained a person, who was present at the godown of the fake unit.

According to police, the people working in the unit were using packets and labels of Tata Salt and Surf Exel to sell their products in the market.

Police have seized over 50 quintals of fake salt and detergent and further investigation is underway,

It is pertinent to mention here that similar units engaged in manufacturing fake or adulterated food items had been busted in Cuttack in the recent past.
