Drone Crashes Onto Bargarh MP Suresh Pujari’s Residence, Probe Launched

Jharsuguda: In a concerning incident amid the fervour of the 2024 elections, a drone crashed onto the premises of Bargarh MP Suresh Pujari’s rented residence in Ambajhara, near Gandhi Chhak, Belpahar Town, Jharsuguda district.

Expressing apprehensions, MP Pujari, who is contesting from the Brajrajnagar Assembly seat, raised questions about the drone’s purpose in the area.

According to Pujari, the drone crashed after hitting an LT tower, with its engine still running upon discovery. He expressed concern over the intrusion into his compound and questioned the motives behind it.

The local police have initiated an investigation into the matter.

Jharsuguda SP Parmar Smit Parshottamdas stated that preliminary findings indicate the drone belonged to the Forest Department and was being used for plantation surveys. However, a thorough investigation is underway to ascertain all details surrounding the incident.
