Gold & Silver Rates In Odisha Today

Bhubaneswar: The price of 24-carat gold per 10 grams hit Rs 51,600 on Saturday in the twin towns of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, in the midst of fluctuations in gold and silver prices across the nation.

Ten grams of yellow metal were sold for Rs 49,800 for 23-carat gold, compared to Rs 47,700 for 22-carat gold.

In a similar vein, the price of 20, 18, and 14-carat gold slightly declined from Friday’s pricing, reaching Rs 43,500, Rs 39,200, and Rs 30,800, respectively.

In the meantime, Pure Ginni (gold coin) is currently being traded at Rs 39,700 on Saturday.

In contrast, one kilogram of silver costs Rs 57,100 (with GST) in Bhubaneswar.

Gold is currently being traded in Cuttack at Rs. 5,160 (GST 995) and Rs. 5,140 (Cash 995) per gram.

Notably, state taxes, excise taxes, and manufacturing fees affect the price of gold in India.

Changes in international pricing affect the price of silver in India. The variation of the rupee against the dollar is another factor. Silver becomes more expensive if the currency depreciates versus its foreign counterpart and global prices remain stable.
