Illegal Coke Smuggling Racket Busted In Bhadrak, 1 Held With 28 Tonnes Of Australian Hard Coke

Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha police on Tuesday seized more than 28 tonnes of Australian Hard Coke from Bhadrak’s Dhamra area.

On the basis of a tip-off, STF sleuths conducted raids at multiple locations in Bhadrak.

The miscreants were siphoning the coke in 12-wheeler trucks which were escorted by SUVs. Raids were conducted at which led to the arrest of one Parsuram Mahalik.

The accused has been booked under Sections 379, 411, 413, and 120(B) of the IPC and Section 21 of the MMDR Act. A case has been registered by Bhadrak Rural police in this connection. Mahalik is a native of Goudunipokhari under Bansada police limits.
