Daring Theft at Nabarangpur Collector’s Office, Multiple Electronic Devices Stolen

Nabarangpur: In a brazen heist, robbers broke into the Nabarangpur district collector’s office and stole multiple electronic devices. The theft was discovered on Monday, October 30, when office staff returned to work after the weekend.

According to reports, the robbers made off with four computer monitors, two central processing units (CPUs), and a printer from the election sub-division room and the Deputy Collector’s office on the ground floor of the Collector’s office building. The perpetrators gained entry to the premises by forcibly breaking a lock.

Upon discovering the theft, the office staff immediately alerted the Nabarangpur Town Police Station. The police dispatched a team of officers, a scientific team, and sniffer dogs to the scene to launch a comprehensive investigation.

The police are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the area and interviewing witnesses to identify and apprehend the culprits. The theft has caused significant inconvenience to the district administration and the public who rely on its services.
