Odia Movie DAMaN Declared Tax Free

Bhubaneswar: Odia movie DAMaN was declared tax-free in Odisha on Friday. This was announced by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

The film portrays the humanity of a young doctor in providing health care in the remote areas of Malkangiri in real life.

The Chief Minister expressed hope that the move will augment the service to mankind attitude of all employees in the Health Department.

According to a release from the Chief Minister’s Office, DAMaN features the success story of Malaria eradication from the off-reach area of Malkanagiri district.

The story of the movie and the characters played in it will inspire the doctor and paramedical communities to excel in selfless services, it said.
