Odisha BJP Vice President Lekhasri Samantsinghar Quits Party, Joins BJD Ahead Of Polls

Bhubaneswar: Lekhasri Samantsinghar, the former Vice President of the Odisha unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) resigned from the party on Sunday, citing a lack of trust from the leadership despite her sincere efforts and dedication.

In her resignation letter addressed to Manmohan Samal, the BJP State President, Samantsinghar expressed her disappointment, stating, “I have given my sweat and blood to the Bharatiya Janata Party for the last ten years. However, despite all the sincerity and hard work, I could not earn the trust of the leadership. During a ceremony at Shankha Bhawan in Bhubaneswar, she was welcomed into the party by senior BJD leaders, including Manas Mangaraj.
