Odisha Police Launches Special Drive To Catch Traffic Violators

Bhubaneswar: In an attempt to curb traffic violations, the Odisha Police has initiated a four-day special drive in the state from today (October 18) till October 21.

According to reports, the special drive will be conducted on all National and State Highways across the state in two phases in a day. While the first phase will be from 9 AM to 2 PM, the second phase will run till 6 PM starting from 3 PM.

According to the notification issued by the State Transport Authority (STA), if a rider is found to be riding without a helmet, using mobile phone while driving, driving without a seat belt, overspeeding, and so on, his/her vehicle will be seized.
