OSSC Invites Applications For Junior Laboratory Assistant Posts, Check Here

Bhubaneswar: Applications have been invited by the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Laboratory Assistant as ‘Initial Appointees’ under the Director of Technical Education & Training.

Applications have been invited for the recruitment of 64 vacancies for the posts by visiting the official website of the commission—www.ossc.gov.in from 26 September 2022.

Important dates:

  • Commencement of online applications: 26 September 2022
  • Last date for submitting online applications: 25 October 2022

Eligibility

i. Must have passed Middle School Examination with Odia as language subject, or
ii. Must have passed HSC Examination or equivalent examination with Odia as Medium of examination in non-language subject, or
iii. Must have passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of Class-VII or above, or
iv. Must have passed a test in Odia in Middle English School standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department

Educational Qualification

The candidate in order to be eligible for appearing in the selection examination for the post must have passed:

i. Junior Laboratory Assistant (Branch) – Three years regular Diploma in first Division in respective branches for Laboratory Asst (Branch) as detailed at Clause-2 (a) from AICTE approved Diploma Institutes or its equivalent.
ii. Junior Laboratory Assistant (Workshop) – Three years regular Diploma in first Division Mechanical Engineering discipline from AICTE approved Diploma Institutes or its equivalent.
iii.  Junior Laboratory Assistant (Physics) & Junior Laboratory Assistant (Chemistry) —B.Sc. in Physics Hons. (PCM) from a recognised University or its equivalent with first Division for Laboratory Assistant (Physics) / B.Sc. in Chemistry Hons (PCM) from a recognised University or its equivalent with la Division for Laboratory Assistant (Chemistry)
