Prez Murmu Flies Back To Delhi After 2-Day Odisha Visit

Bhubaneswar: After concluding her two-day visit to Odisha, President Droupadi Murmu Friday left for New Delhi.

Odisha Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan were, among others, present at the airport to see her off.

President Murmu on Friday concluded her maiden visit to her home state after assuming charge of the top constitutional post in the country.
She launched various projects of the Union Ministry of Education from Jayadev Bhawan, Bhubaneswar today.
On day two of his visit, she visited Tapoban High School at Khandagiri and her alma mater Capital Girls’ High School and Kuntalakumari Sabat Adivasi Girls Hostel at Unit 2 and attended a special function at Jayadev Bhawan.
These include engineering books of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in Odia language; glossary of the technical terms in Odia language, developed by Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology (CSTT); and e-KUMBH (Knowledge Unleashed in Multiple Bharatiya Languages) portal.
