Puri Launches Online Registration System for Cremation Services At Swargadwar

Puri: The Puri district administration has introduced an online registration system for cremation services at Swargadwar, a popular Hindu pilgrimage site. The website, https://swargadwar.com/, allows users to efficiently register for cremation services by uploading necessary details, avoiding long wait times.

The website, currently in a trial phase, is available in Odia, Hindi, and English. It provides comprehensive services, including financial assistance to Swargadwar Sanskar Sevaks assisting with cremation, supporting their weddings and funerals.

The website was launched on Diwali, and the Puri Sub Collector Bhavataran Sahu, the Ex-Officio Convener-cum-Secretary of the Swargadwar Seva Samity, announced that a Swargadwar app will soon be available on the Google Play Store.

It’s worth noting that a similar website, https://www.swargadwara.com/, was launched a few years ago to streamline cremation services at Swargadwar in Puri.
