Road Mishap In Puri Claims Two Lives; Leaves One Critical

Puri: Two persons were killed while one sustained critical injuries after the bike they were riding on hit the rear of a truck near Biragobindapur petrol pump under Sakhigopal police limits in Puri district on Tuesday.
The deceased persons are Suryakant Sahu of Hota Sahi in Sakhigopal and Sushma Mishra who was posted as a constable in Puri.

According to reports, The accident took place this afternoon when the trio was returning after attending a cremation at Swargadwar in Puri.

Suddenly they were hit by a stationary coal-laden truck, subsequently, two died on the spot while another sustained critical injuries

After the accident, the bodies of the deceased persons were sent to Sakhigopal Community Health Centre. The injured person is presently undergoing treatment at Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar.
