Satyajit Mohanty Completes Term as Chairman of OPSC

Bhubaneswar: Satyajit Mohanty’s tenure as the Chairman of Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) concluded on August 2 as he reached the age of 62 years.

The General Administration and Public Grievance Department recently issued a notification to this effect.

Mohanty, a former IPS officer of the 1988 batch, assumed the role of OPSC Chairman in February 2021, after taking voluntary retirement from his police service career.

Prior to his OPSC appointment, he served as the Director General of Fire Services in Odisha and as the Police Commissioner in the twin-city.
