Second Robbery In 2 Days In Rourkela; Rs 5L Looted From Bizman

Rourkela: A businessman was allegedly looted Rs five lakh by bike-borne miscreants near Satatala Gate along the Ring Road under the Plant Site police station in Rourkela on Tuesday.

According to reports, the incident took place this afternoon when the victim, identified as Pradeep Chhele was returning from a bank after withdrawing Rs five lakh.

Suddenly, some miscreants came on a motorcycle, snatched the cash bag from Chhele, and fled from the scene.

On being informed, the Plant Site police reached the spot and launched a probe.

Reportedly a day ago, a liquor shop employee was looted of Rs 14.93 lakh by a couple of miscreants near the Rourkela Municipal Corporation office.

Uditnagar police have registered a case and have launched a manhunt to nab the accused duo.
