Woman Gang-Raped In Front Husband In Balasore; Four Held

Balasore: Police have arrested four persons for allegedly raping a woman in Godhibasa area under Sahadev Khunta police limits in Balasore.

According to reports, the incident took place on Monday late at night while the woman along with her husband had been to the railway station to drop off one of their relatives.

Meanwhile, the accused persons waylaid the couple and later assaulted the husband with sharp-edged weapons. Later, they outraged the modesty of the woman in front of her husband.

Acting on the complaint, police launched a probe and detained six persons including a minor in this connection.

Further investigation is underway in this regard.
