Alan Walker Teams Up with RCB For Electrifying Team Anthem For IPL 2024

Bengaluru: Norwegian DJ and music producer Alan Walker has collaborated with the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to create a track for the team ahead of the upcoming 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) season.

Titled ‘Team Side ft RCB’, the song features Norwegian pop artist Sofiloud and will be released on Tuesday at Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium during the #RCBUnbox event. With an electro-house vibe, the multilingual track includes English, Kannada, and Hindi lyrics.

Walker will headline a thirty-minute live set at the event, joined by artists like Raghu Dixit, Neeti Mohan, Brodha V, Jordindian, and Barfi Katcheri. The occasion will also see the presence of RCB players, cricket stars Virat Kohli, Faf Du Plessis, Mohammed Siraj, Glenn Maxwell, Dinesh Karthik, along with notable personalities such as producer Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar and actor Rishab Shetty.

Expressing his excitement, Walker stated, “I am thrilled to collaborate with RCB on this team track. ‘Team Side ft RCB’ is a celebration of hope, joy, community, and unity, marking an exciting year in India for me.” Known for hits like “Faded” and “On My Way,” Walker is eager to reconnect with his Indian fanbase.

Additionally, Walker’s visit coincides with the announcement of his upcoming tour in India, titled WalkerWorld India Tour. The 17th edition of the IPL will commence with a match between defending champions Chennai Super Kings and RCB on Friday.
