South African spinner Keshav Maharaj also celebrated the occasion, sending good wishes to the Indian community in South Africa for the inauguration of the Ram Mandir.

Warner, who recently retired from Test cricket, questioned Cricket Australia’s decision to impose a lifetime ‘leadership’ ban on him in connection to the 2018 ball-tampering scandal in South Africa. Despite being eligible to coach in the future, Warner finds the ban perplexing, especially given the increased responsibility of coaching compared to captaining. The 36-year-old emphasized his confusion regarding the distinction between coaching and captaining, expressing his desire to contribute in a coaching role for Australia.

The player, along with then-captain Steve Smith and batter Cameron Bancroft, faced a one-year cricket ban for their involvement in altering the ball’s condition during the Cape Town Test. Warner remains uncertain about the reasons behind Cricket Australia’s decision and finds the situation “very bizarre.” The cricketer shared his thoughts during an interview with Code Sports, as reported by news.com.au.
