Tight Security Blankets Ayodhya as Devotees Prepare for Historic Ram Mandir Opening

Ayodhya: The grand consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is set to take place tomorrow, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi participating in the ‘Pran Pratistha’ rituals. Extensive security measures have been implemented, with 13,000 forces deployed and celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Mukesh Ambani, Sachin Tendulkar, and others attending.

The ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony, beginning at 12:20 pm, is expected to conclude by 1 pm. PM Modi will address a gathering of 7,000 people and the event will be broadcast live, prompting some states to declare a holiday.

Security has been heightened, featuring artificial intelligence-powered CCTV, anti-drone technology, and the deployment of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) near the shrine. The newly sculpted 51-inch Ram Lalla idol is already in place.

The consecrated Ram Mandir will open to the public on January 23. Traffic restrictions are in place, with designated parking spots for 22,825 vehicles, monitored by drone surveillance. Special arrangements have been made for VIPs, including Bollywood stars and business magnates.

To handle emergencies, NDRF teams are trained for various scenarios, and health preparedness includes reserved beds and emergency response training for medical staff.

Ayodhya and the Ram Mandir are adorned with lights, flowers, and cultural programs celebrating Lord Ram. The city is receiving numerous gifts from various places, including bangles, sweets, and symbolic items for the ‘Pran Pratistha.’
