IPL 2023: Punjab Opt To Bowl Against Lucknow In A Bid To Enter Top 4; Check Playing XIs

Mohali: Punjab Kings (PBKS) are all set to host Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for the 38th game of the current IPL 2023 after a fantastic victory against Mumbai Indians. They’ve played some outstanding cricket so far, winning four of their seven games. On the other side, Lucknow choked against Gujarat Titans in their most recent game when captain KL Rahul abandoned them with the game in the balance.

While Krunal Pandya occasionally displayed flashes of brilliance, Kyle Mayers has performed admirably for the team. Mark Wood is quite likely to rejoin the starting XI when it comes to bowlers, while Ravi Bishnoi can pose a serious threat against his previous team.

Shikhar Dhawan’s return to the team, meanwhile, will be a huge boost for the group. However, in Dhawan’s absence, Prabhsimran Singh, Sam Curran, and Jitesh Sharma all performed admirably, and with the ball, Arshdeep is competing for the IPL Purple cap.
