Shami Takes Cheeky Dig At Shoaib Akhtar After Pakistan Lose T20 WC Final

Mumbai: After Pakistan’s five-wicket defeat to England in the final in Melbourne on Sunday, Indian fast bowler, Mohammed Shami took a cheeky dig at ex-seamer Shoaib Akhtar.

Mohammed Shami was quick to respond to Shoaib Akhtar’s post on Twitter, saying it was “Karma”.

In response, Shoaib Akhtar, who was left heartbroken after Pakistan lost the T20 World Cup 2022 Final, replied to Shami with a heartbroken emoji.

A few netizens pointed out a throwback video in which Akhtar had questioned Shami’s selection to the T20 World Cup 2022 squad.

Shami was not in contention for T20Is after the last year’s World Cup but an injury to Jasprit Bumrah forced the Indian team management to include the senior pacer in the 15-man squad.
