2 Dead, 3 Injured in Head-On Collision Between Two Bikes in Balangir Dist

Balangir: Two motorcycle riders died and three others were critically injured in a head-on collision between two bikes near Dhamandanga village in Balangir district on Friday night.

The deceased were identified as Dhanurjay Jhankar of Pipal Munda village and Uttam Banchhor of Dangamara village.

According to reports, at around 9 pm, Dhanurjay and Tularam were returning home from Kantabanji, when they had a They had a head-on collision with another bike coming from the opposite direction near Dhamandanga village.

Five persons were travelling on the two bikes were seriously injured in the accident.

Locals rushed the injured to the Government Hospital at Kantabanji, where doctors declared the two bikers Dhanurjay of Pipal Munda village and Uttam of Dangamara village dead.

The three injured were Tularam Mallik, Pabitra Kanhar, and Abhi Banchhor, who were pillion riders on the two bikes.
