15 Children Injured as School Bus Overturns in Ranchi

Ranchi: Fifteen children were injured when their school bus overturned in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi on Saturday morning. All injured children are out of danger. No one was seriously injured.

The school bus with 16 children overturned at a turning, just about 100 metres from the St Maria School in Mandar. The driver of the bus escaped from the spot after the accident.

The parents of the injured children alleged that the bus was speeding, and the driver was talking on the phone when the accident occurred.

The bus was 45 minutes late, for which, the driver was speeding while speaking on the phone.

An investigation is on to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
