12 Dead As Speeding Car Crashes into Parked Truck on Bengaluru-Hyderabad Highway

Bengaluru: A horrific road accident on Thursday morning claimed the lives of at least 12 people and left one critically injured on the bustling Bengaluru-Hyderabad National Highway 44 in Karnataka’s Chikkaballapur district.

According to the police, a Tata Sumo car collided head-on with a stationary truck around 7:15 AM, resulting in the instant death of 12 passengers. The lone survivor, who sustained critical injuries, was rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.

The victims were all residents of Andhra Pradesh’s Penukonda district. The police have launched an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
