3 Die as 2 Bikes Collide in Keonjhar District

Keonjhar: A couple and their son-in-law died as two bikes had a head-on collision near Padmapur Gate in the Anandpur area of Odisha’s Keonjhar district on Friday.

The deceased were identified as Sahadev Behera, his wife Chandini Behera and their son-in-law Abhiram Behera. All of them were from Kalabila village under Ghasipura police station limits.

The ill-fated trio was travelling on a bike and another speeding bike collided with it.

The three fell from their two-wheeler sustaining critical injuries. One of them died on the spot. Two others died at the Anandpur Hospital.

Police have seized the vehicle and started an investigation into the incident.
