3 Killed as Unknown Vehicle Hits Bike on NH49 in Jharsuguda Dist

Jharsuguda: Three youths lost their lives as an unidentified vehicle hit a bike on which they were travelling at Goudapada on NH-49 under Belpahar police station limits in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district in the wee hours of Monday.

The driver of the yet-to-be-identified accident-causing vehicle escaped from the spot leaving behind the critically injured victims.

Investigating police officials are examining the CCTV footage from nearby areas to identify the vehicle.

As per reports, the victims were inhabitants of Sahajbahal village on their way to Lakhanpur.

Police sent the bodies of the victims for post-mortem and launched an investigation into the fatal accident.
